Every vehicle is inspected on a 28-point checklist before leaving our Gulberg yard. Daily rates below are self-drive where available; luxury and vans are chauffeur-included.
Compact and fuel-efficient — best for city errands, short stays and tight budgets.
The economy class is the most-booked category on LahoreRentCar.com, and for good reason — cars like the Suzuki Alto, Daihatsu Mira, Toyota Passo and Suzuki Swift cost a fraction of a sedan to run while still comfortably seating four with air conditioning, which matters through a Lahore summer. Most renters in this class choose self-drive, since these are easy, forgiving cars to handle through city traffic, parking is straightforward, and fuel economy keeps daily costs down even on longer bookings. Rates start from Rs 4,200/day — see the exact breakdown by model on our daily rental prices page — and every car in this class carries the same insurance, delivery and 28-point inspection as the rest of the fleet, so the lower price is never a compromise on condition.
Economy hatchbacks are typically booked for short city errands, university runs, visiting relatives across town, or as a second car while a family’s own vehicle is in the shop. If you need the car for longer than a few days, our weekly and monthly rental rates bring the per-day cost down further, and are worth checking before booking day by day. Delivery is free to all 30 areas we cover across Lahore, typically within 30 to 60 minutes of confirming a booking, so there is no need to travel to a rental office.
A valid CNIC or passport, a driving licence held for at least a year, and a refundable security deposit are all that is needed to self-drive an economy car — full details are on the self-drive page. If you would prefer not to drive yourself even in this class, a chauffeur can be added for a small daily supplement. Whichever way you book it, the economy class remains the simplest, most affordable way to get around Lahore without relying on ride-hailing apps for every trip.
The city’s default business car — comfortable for client meetings and airport runs.
The sedan class — Toyota Corolla, Corolla Altis, Honda Civic and similar — is Lahore’s default business car, and it is the class most corporate accounts and airport transfers are booked from. A sedan strikes the balance most renters actually want: enough boot space and rear legroom for a client or a family of four, better fuel economy than an SUV, and a more formal look than a hatchback for meetings, interviews or hotel pickups. Companies that need a car on standby for visiting staff or partners usually start with our corporate rental page, where monthly invoicing replaces booking a car trip by trip.
Most sedans in this class are available either self-drive or with a driver. If you are new to Lahore’s traffic patterns, or simply do not want to deal with parking near Mall Road or DHA’s roundabouts, a professional chauffeur is available for a fixed daily rate and is the option most first-time visitors choose. Locals who know the city well tend to book self-drive instead, since it works out cheaper over a multi-day stay and offers more flexibility for unplanned stops.
Sedans are also the most common vehicle for airport pickup and drop, since they are easy to spot at arrivals, comfortable for one or two passengers with luggage, and priced well below a luxury car for a route that is the same distance regardless of the vehicle. Flight-tracked pickups mean the driver adjusts automatically if a flight lands early or late, so there is no need to keep calling for updates.
Whether the trip is a single airport run, a week of client meetings, or a standing monthly arrangement, the sedan class covers the everyday middle ground between the economy class’s low price and the SUV or luxury class’s extra space and presence.

The right choice for intercity runs to Islamabad, Multan and the north.
The SUV class — Toyota Prado, Fortuner, Honda BR-V and similar 4×4 and 7-seat options — is built for the trips a sedan cannot comfortably handle: a full family with luggage, a rough road surface outside the city, or a multi-day trip into the north. This is the class most renters choose for outstation travel, whether that is a same-day run to Islamabad on the motorway or a longer trip toward Murree, Hunza or Skardu, where ground clearance and four-wheel drive genuinely matter rather than just looking rugged in a listing photo.
Families planning a trip together typically start on our family & tourist rental page, since the larger SUVs in this class seat up to seven with enough boot space for a full set of luggage, something that is difficult to manage in a sedan on a trip longer than a weekend. Most of the SUV class is available self-drive for renters comfortable with a larger vehicle, though a growing share of outstation bookings come with a chauffeur included, largely because drivers who know the mountain routes are worth the extra cost on unfamiliar roads with limited signal.
Every SUV in this class is inspected on the same 28-point checklist as the rest of the fleet before it leaves the Gulberg yard, with particular attention to tyres, brakes and fluid levels given the terrain these vehicles are more likely to see. Daily rates run higher than the sedan class, reflecting both the vehicle cost and the fuel it uses, but for a family of five or six heading north for a long weekend, splitting one SUV rental works out considerably cheaper than two sedans traveling in convoy, and considerably safer than one sedan overloaded for the trip.

For weddings, galas, and clients who notice the difference. Chauffeur-only.
The luxury class — Mercedes E-Class, BMW 5 Series, Audi A6, Lexus ES, Range Rover and similar — is chauffeur-only by design, since these cars are booked for occasions where the driver is as much a part of the service as the vehicle itself. The largest share of luxury bookings comes from wedding & VIP car rental, where a decorated sedan or SUV carries the bride or groom to baraat, nikkah and walima, with a chauffeur in formal attire and flower and ribbon styling included rather than charged separately.
Beyond weddings, the same fleet covers corporate VIP movement, protocol transport for government and embassy visitors, and any occasion, a gala, a product launch, a visiting executive, where arriving in the right car is part of making the right impression. See the full luxury car rental page for model-by-model pricing and availability, since not every luxury vehicle is in Lahore on a given day, and the more distinctive cars, Rolls-Royce Ghost and Cullinan in particular, are usually booked further in advance than the rest of the fleet.
Every luxury booking includes a background-checked, protocol-trained chauffeur — self-drive is not offered in this class, both for insurance reasons and because the service itself, punctual arrival, formal attire, discretion, is the point of paying a premium over the sedan class. Multi-vehicle events, such as a wedding with a bridal car and a separate convoy for guests, or a corporate event needing several cars timed to arrive together, are coordinated as one booking with one point of contact rather than several separate reservations, which is usually the detail that matters most once the day itself is underway. Booking early is especially worth it in wedding season, from October through February, when the most requested cars in this class are reserved weeks ahead rather than days.

Hiace, Grand Cabin, Coaster, 40-seater bus — group travel, weddings and corporate staff transport.
The van, coaster and bus class — Toyota Hiace, Hiace Grand Cabin, 26 to 30 seat Coaster and a 40-seater bus — covers group travel that the rest of the fleet simply is not built for: staff transport, wedding guest logistics, school or office trips, and outstation groups too large for even the largest SUV. This is the class most corporate accounts rely on for recurring staff transport between offices, factories and residential areas, usually set up as a standing monthly arrangement rather than booked trip by trip.
Wedding parties frequently add a Coaster or Hiace to their booking alongside a decorated bridal car from the wedding & VIP class, specifically to move guests between venues on the same schedule as the main event rather than leaving family members to arrange their own transport. For outstation groups, a company retreat, a university trip, an extended family heading to Murree or the north together, the larger vehicles in this class make the per-person cost of a group trip considerably lower than splitting the same group across several sedans or SUVs, while keeping everyone on one itinerary and one driver’s judgment of the road conditions.
All vehicles in this class come with a driver as standard; self-drive is not offered given the vehicle size and the commercial licensing required to operate a coaster or bus on Lahore’s roads. Pricing scales with seating capacity, from the 12-seat Hiace up to the 40-seater bus, and every booking is treated as a single coordination point, one pickup time, one route, one point of contact, rather than a fleet of separately coordinated vehicles arriving on their own schedules. Advance booking is recommended for weekends and wedding season, when the Coaster and 40-seater bus are the first vehicles in the fleet to be fully reserved.
