Neelum Valley runs like a green ribbon along the Line of Control — Keran, Sharda, the hike up to Arang Kel, and the alpine Ratti Gali Lake. A Hiace or Coaster with a driver is the natural way to bring a family or group up the valley road.
Most groups spend 3 to 5 days on this trip, though every package is tailored to your dates, pace and budget — the outline below is a starting point, not a fixed schedule.
Neelum Valley is around 430–470 km to Muzaffarabad, then up the valley from Lahore — roughly 9–11 hours to reach the valley. The route runs via the M2 to Islamabad, then via Muzaffarabad and north along the Neelum River. Travelling as a group in one vehicle means no convoy to keep together and no one worn out from driving mountain roads.
Day 1: Lahore to Muzaffarabad via the M2, then up the Neelum Valley to Keran or Kutton for the night.
Day 2: Kutton (Jagran) Waterfall and on to Sharda, exploring the riverside villages.
Day 3: Kel, and the jeep-and-hike up to Arang Kel; or the Ratti Gali Lake day trip in season.
Days 4–5: Return down the valley and back to Lahore.
Along the way you’ll take in Keran, Sharda, Kel and Arang Kel, Ratti Gali Lake, the Kutton (Jagran) Waterfall and Dhani Waterfall. Tell us what matters most to your group and we’ll shape the days around it.
Every Neelum Valley package is chauffeur-driven — you pick the vehicle to match your group size, and a professional driver experienced on northern routes handles the whole trip:
Those are Lahore daily base rates; a Neelum Valley tour is quoted as a multi-day package that includes the driver, with fuel, tolls and the driver’s accommodation and meals itemised transparently.
Each package includes the vehicle, a professional chauffeur, and comprehensive insurance that applies on northern routes. Fuel and tolls are separate and disclosed upfront, and on multi-day trips the driver’s accommodation and meal allowance are itemised — never hidden in the daily rate. You pay a partial advance to confirm the dates, with the balance on the trip.
